To help get small business online, we wanted to tell the story of one very special small business owner. But how do you create content when the city/country/world is in lockdown? Peter was the subject, DP, grip, prop stylist, audio tech, you name it. An agency and client first, we produced the spot 100% remotely leveraging Google’s suite of hardware and software. We collaborated with talent, production, and agency via Google Hangouts, edited with live YouTube links and of course, the spot was shot entirely on a Pixel.

In 2019, Google shifted its focus from hardware and software to “helpware” – a human approach to complex tech with the simple goal of making your day-to-day a little easier.

To ensure the brand was living that north star throughout the consumer experience, we invited shoppers to Pixelville: a unique mini town square inside the brand-new Rogers flagship store. Packed with relevant and easy-to-follow demos that highlighted the many benefits of the Google ecosystem, shoppers got to experience the helpware story in a unique and memorable way.

Google’s latest products were designed with one core goal in mind: to help. So while launching their new lineup in Canada, they wanted to do just that.

Working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Toronto Raptors, we surprised the families of RHMC with the latest Google tech, outfitting their homes and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms across the country so they could stay connected to loved ones while their child was in the hospital; bringing a little bit of help and joy to families in a way that only Google could.
